the name for this site comes from a short manga that i read while back, parasite in love. i stayed up late reading it one night (despite having school the next day) and i fell in love with the story. the concept was so unique and the artstyle was the epitome of my preferences. i really resonated with one of the main characters, hijiri sanagi, and immediately latched onto her due to her resemblance of myself. but to my surprise, there was basically nobody talking about the manga on the internet, so i have now decreed myself the #1 fan with the duty to spread my love and passion for it across the internet myself.
